Rental Terms

The terms, in plain English.

No buried fine print. These are the rules that apply to every Elite rental in Dubai. Read them once and you'll know exactly where you stand.

Driver requirements

Minimum age is 22 for everyday cars and vans, and 25 for premium and performance vehicles.

UAE residents need a valid UAE driving licence and Emirates ID. Visitors need a passport, visit visa page, and either a home-country licence accepted in the UAE or an International Driving Permit.

The named driver on the agreement is the only person permitted to drive. Additional drivers can be added before delivery.

Security deposit

A refundable deposit is held on a credit card at the start of every rental. The amount is shown on each vehicle page and confirmed on WhatsApp before delivery.

The deposit is released after the vehicle is returned and checked, typically within 14 to 21 days depending on your bank and on any pending Salik or fine reconciliation.

Mileage and extra kilometres

Each vehicle includes a daily kilometre allowance, listed on its page. Weekly and monthly rentals pool the allowance across the full period.

Extra kilometres are charged at the per-kilometre rate quoted with your booking. We tell you the rate before you sign, never after.

Fuel, Salik and parking

Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and should be returned full. If not, we refuel and charge the fuel plus a refuelling fee.

Salik toll gates are billed at cost at the end of your rental. Parking fees and Dubai Municipality charges are the driver's responsibility.

Traffic fines

Fines issued during your rental are your responsibility and are passed on at cost plus a standard administration fee per fine.

Fines can appear on the system weeks after the incident, so we may contact you after the rental has ended.

Insurance and excess

All vehicles include comprehensive insurance. In the event of damage, you are liable up to the insurance excess stated in your agreement.

Insurance is void if the driver was unlicensed, under the influence, driving off-road, racing, or if the vehicle was driven by someone not named on the agreement.

A police report is required for every incident, however minor. Without it, insurance will not process the claim.

Delivery, collection and territory

Delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai is complimentary. Other emirates are available on request for a fee.

Vehicles may be driven anywhere in the UAE. Taking a vehicle into Oman or any other country requires written approval and additional insurance.

Extensions, cancellation and early return

Extensions are easy. Message us on WhatsApp before your return time and we will confirm availability and pricing.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before delivery are free. Inside 24 hours, one day's rental may be charged.

Early returns on daily rentals are not refunded. On weekly and monthly rentals, unused full weeks are refunded at the standard rate.

Breakdowns and roadside support

Mechanical faults and roadside assistance are covered by us. Call or message the number on your agreement and we will arrange support or a replacement vehicle.

Issues caused by misuse, wrong fuel, kerb or tyre damage, or ignoring warning lights are chargeable.

These terms summarise the signed rental agreement you receive at delivery. Where the two differ, the signed agreement applies. Questions? Message us on WhatsApp. We would rather explain it now than surprise you later.
